A Rare Late 17th Century Fruitwood Chest of Drawers

Description

A rare Late 17th Century fruitwood chest of drawers. Constructed throughout in fruitwood including the drawer linings. Having a rectangular two plank top above an arrangement of four long rectangular drawers with block mouldings and brass handles and escutcheons. Having panelled sides and raised on turned bun feet to the front and stile rear supports. English circa 1680-1700. A lovely colour and patina, there is some extinct woodworm and the handles replaced the 18th Century
