A real treasure from the 1930s is this Art Deco tallboy . On first viewing this piece one can't not be impressed by the obvious quality and size , made from solid mahogany for the carcass with a heavily figured walnut book paged veneers to the exterior, it just oozes style and luxury. A very solid, heavy piece that will last any new owners lifetime and beyond. The doors both open smoothly with a working lock and key. Brass hinges and internal lock systems all working well and not corroded. Still retains its original catalin bakelite and brass handles and tortoise shell looking bakelite key hole escutcheons. Lots of useful and generous sized storage within , with three very generously sized open shelves and two full length drawers to the base.
