Set Victorian Brass Fire Irons

Description

A magnificent set of antique Victorian brass fire irons or fire tools stamped with makers mark and design registration numbers and dating from circa 1895. Comprising a pair of tongs, a poker and a shovel all with fancy turned handles and attractive detailing. The shovel is stamped with design registration numbers: 230808, 223044 & 223050 which were registered in 1894 and it has a small faint makers mark “JW” stamped to the front.

Condition Report:

Good condition with wear and marks commensurate with age. Polished finish.
