Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The desk has an arrangement of nine fitted drawers around the central kneehole, each fitted with decorative brass drop handles. The desk is raised on eight square tapering legs with brass castors. Decorative inlaid detail throughout. A rather lovely example.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top and drawer fronts (pictured). The leather writing surface remains in good used condition with some marks, scuffs and minor tears (pictured). The desk remains structurally sound with the drawers running well. All the castors are present. Overall, a good, neat example of antique Edwardian mahogany desk.
