Antique English Scent Bottle Box - Burl Walnut with Brass & Ivory Mounts C.1850

Description

A wonderful English burr Walnut perfume bottle box with it's dome top beautifully decorated with engraved brass mounts and creamy Ivory, always a winning combination against the cognac colouring of the wood.

The bottle retains it's pink silk interior having been wonderfully preserved over the last 150 or 160 years. There are three Baccarat (unmarked) style crystal bottles all with their original stoppers (one stopper has been ground down a little shorter, mentioned purely for accuracy). The bottles are clean and pristine, the box too is in wonderful near mint condition.

Coming complete with a working tasselled key, the box measures 6 3/4" x 3" deep x 4" tall.
