Art Deco Silver & Guilloche Enamel Scent Bottle by Alexander Clark, Birmingham 1926

1900 - 1920
Description

This small and exquisite silver and lilac guilloche enamel scent bottle is dated Birmingham 1926 and was made by Alexander Clark who produced numerous guilloche enamel vanity items. The panelled glass body fitted with a silver screw top lid. The lid inset with a vivid lilac enamel cabochon. The neck fitted with the original clear glass stopper.

Hallmarks:

A.C for Alexander Clark.

Birmingham Assay mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "B" for 1926.

Dimensions:

Height: 8 cm / 3 inches.

Width: 2.5cm / 1 inch

Depth: 1.5cm / 0.4 inches.

Condition:

Enamel in excellent condition.

No dings or dents to silver lid.

Glass body and glass neck in good condition.
