Description

Gents 1960s Modina Extra wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewelhand-winding movement made by the Italian watch movement manufacturer Ora. The movement would have been bought in to case and prepare for onward retail under the brand name Modina. The movement is working nicely.

The watch measures 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and it is in lovely condition.

The lens on the front is in good condition with just light marking.. The inspection lens to the back has a 5mm crack.

The dial is signed Modina Extra. The brand name Modina was registered by the Modina Watch Co of Grenchen in Switzerland. Original finish with textured centre and copper coloured highlights including the subsidiary seconds dial. Original hands.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
