Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The chest of drawers separates at the mid section for ease of movement and transport. Raised on bun feet. A particularly good example. Due to the fact that the chest splits into two parts it is the ideal choice for rooms with poor access.

Item Ref; M-3731
DIMENSIONS:
Height – 145cm / Width – 119cm / Depth – 58cm
CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top front and sides (pictured). The two part Victorian mahogany chest remains structurally solid and sound. Once in place the top section is screwed to the base. Some evidence of old historic woodworm in places though this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Good colour and patina throughout. Overall, a particularly good example.
