Description

A substantial pair of early 19thc late Regency era brass and cast iron fire dogs c1820-30. The front stands are made of solid heavy brass with strongly scrolling legs, a decorative central shield topped by an all round onion shaped brass finial. The back supports are made of cast iron, stamped with the casting number. One support has been strengthened.
