This is a large antique bow form settle. An English, elm and oak bench seat, dating to the Georgian period and later, circa 1750.

Magnificent form, quality and scale afford this settle an impressive appearance

Displaying a desirable aged patina and in very good order

Elm stocks of 3cm (1.25") thickness show fine grain interest

Presenting deep caramel hues throughout beneath a wax polish finish

Superb bow form with concave bench seat

Appealing panelled back rest nestles beneath a canopy top
