Description

This stunning 19th century articulated French necklace is made up of 19 separate silver pieces, 17 of them set with sparkling foiled-back paste stones. Half way along there is a hook at the reverse, which can be used to hang a pendant - traditionally these "Yvetot" necklaces from the Normandy region would have suspended a large cross.

The piece is in very good antique condition; we spotted one tiny vacant stone but you have to look very hard to find it. We have added a new grosgrain ribbon to secure the necklace.

Length: 14 inches (approx 35cm) - although the 19 inches of additional ribbon can used to tie the necklace at whatever length suits you.
