Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the 1860s.
An outstanding original settee.
This settee features an elegantly shaped and carved back, going to 2 lower arms complete with elegantly scroll carved cabriole arm frontages going finishing to carved cabriole legs to the front and shaped rear legs. The suite features a deep buttoned back and a sprung seat. The settee features its glossy french polished finish with original lightly faded walnut Colour.

The material on this settee is a soft feel oyster blush coloured velvet with blushed braid and is used but in fantastic as new condition from a smoke and pet free home. We have professionally wet cleaned this material to ensure it is as perfect and as fresh as could be. The inner padding is traditionally sprung (does not clunk), in good condition an is very comfortable to sit in.

If the material is not to your taste we would be able to quote for re-upholstering this settee for you if you enquire.
This settee is in fantastic solid condition and does not have loose joints, splits or wobbles.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but does have signs of wear and tear, however, we feel that these points are which adds to part of its charm and character with it being antique. Also note, the sale is for the settee only, other items are not included.
