Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The dining table has incredible burr walnut grain patterns, it sits on fluted, sabre legs and has crisp floral carving on the corner. The shaped top opens and has an extra leaf to extend the dining area, the leaf can be stored beneath the top when not in use.
The dining chairs match the table beautifully, they are solid walnut with scrolled back rests, and also have fluted sabre legs. There are four straight back side chairs and two carver armchairs.
We have had the table and chairs stripped and re-polished to an incredibly high standard. The chairs have also been re-upholstered in a top quality cream cotton fabric. The condition is superb throughout.
