Mid C19th Japanese porcelain dished charger decorated in the Imari palette. Japanese Imari charger of good scale decorated with vignettes and panels of trees and exotic birds surrounding a circular central blue-and-white panel . Vibrantly painted in typical iron-red and blue enamel decoration . The verso with blue-and-white floral decoration to the outer edge ,with concentric blue rings into a foot-ring . Evidence of kiln spur support marks in the glaze to the centre. In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs.
