The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch measures 22mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the lugs so it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is stainless steel and it is in lovely condition.

The movement and case are not original to each other, the movement was probably replaced in its entirety as a more economical proposition. This often happened in the case of something like water damage where the whole movement may have been damaged.

The convex lens is in good condition.
The dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
