Description

An imposing and good quality Victorian burr walnut bookcase. The cornice having an architectural top with a centred finial leading to 2 glazed doors with brass handle, escutcheon and working lock with key. The doors open to reveal an interior with 4 burr walnut faced adjustable shelves. The lower section having 2 burr walnut drawers with original brass handles, the 2 cupboard doors each having 1 large panel and a smaller panel with attractive carved detail and again retaining the original brass handle and working lock with key, the interior with 1 shelf and the whole raised on a plinth base. Condition- Very good and original, cleaned and waxed in our own workshops. Dimensions:- Max.Height…99.5’’/253cm. Width…43’’/ 109cm. Depth…18’’/ 46cm. Base Height…36.75’’/ 93.5cm.
