Penderyn Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The antique set of elm dining chairs are raised on four square legs with straight H stretcher supports. The drop-in seats have slightly different needlework tapestry, but have the same style throughout making them work really well as a set of four.

Item Ref; M-3654
DIMENSIONS:
Height – 96.5cm / Width – 53cm / Depth – 53cm / Seat Height - 48cm
CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the backrests and legs (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. There are several signs of shrinkage (pictured), and repairs to the feet on two of the chairs (pictured). The antique elm dining chairs remain structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Overall, an aesthetically pleasing set of dining chairs.
