Early 20th century French style beech luggage rack. An unusual and useful piece of furniture, being both a luggage rack and seat. The front of the luggage rack and legs are attractively carved with flowers and foliage, the seat cushion has been upholstered. The rack has brass hinges and opens out flat, (in order to place the luggage) with a slatted top, which has applied brass rails.
The upholstery has minor blemishes.
