Description

A very handsome Victorian napkin ring made from solid or sterling silver beautifully embossed with a floral and foliate design, most attractive and very tactile. The front has a vacant circular cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if desired.

There is a good clear hallmark for London 1896, making this a true Victorian example. The makers mark is too present for the silversmith C.S. Harris & Sons Ltd.

A good gauge silver and a good weight, 1.11 Troy Ounces or 34.6 grams. A good size too, measuring 1 1/2" thick and a diameter measuring 1 7/8".
