The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number, 8,102,127, dates it back to 1897.

The watch measures 36mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and it is beautifully detailed on both the front and back, and the condition is super with just one scratch inside the front cover

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The dial is in super condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.
The watch comes in an antique presentation box from an Australian jeweller.
