A rather attractive small 18th century carved oak coffer. The carved oak coffer has a hinged lid (possibly a later replacement) that opens to reveal a spacious interior. The coffer has decorative carved detail to the front and is raised on shaped sides. Of neat proportions.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top, front and sides (pictured). The top may be a later replacement. There is evidence of old historic woodworm - this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. There are various honest repairs including repairs to the legs/sides and also to the top (pictured). Overall, a rather charming piece with lots of character.
