Victorian Button Back Armchair Circa 1880

19th century
Description

A Victorian button back armchair, circa 1880, the tub shaped back with serpentine shaped sprung seat and raised on bulbous ring turned turned front supports with original brass and porcelain castors.

In good structural condition, the springs are good with no lumps or bumps to the seat. The pink dralon type fabric is possibly useable, it has some snagging on the outside left hand side and is a little grubby but would benefit from a steam clean. I can arrange re-covering with my upholsterer and supply fabric - please contact me for further details.

84cm high, 70cm wide (outside arm to outside arm) 59cm wide at the front, the seat 48cm deep and 38cm high.
