There are also two secret compartments within the fitted interior. The antique carved oak bureau base has an arrangement of two pull out drawers that support the fall front, over three long graduating drawers, each fitted with brass drop handles. The Victorian oak bureau is raised on bracket feet.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top, also a split to fall front (pictured). There is further wear, including marks and scratches to the fitted interior, as well as replacement hinges to the fall front (pictured). The antique carved oak bureau remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example.
