Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1880s.
The chest with too short drawers, above three long graduated drawers each with a curved mould edge, diamond escutcheons, and pairs of axehead brass handles. The whole with a plinth base, finished with a rounded and stepped edge, as per the top.
Height 12 inches, 30cm.
Width 12 1/4 inches, 31cm.
Depth 6 1/4 inches, 16cm.
Date circa 1880.
