A George I Style Chinoiserie Painted and Gilded Cocktail Cabinet

1900 - 1920
Description

A George I Style Chinoiserie painted and gilded cocktail cabinet. The upper section having chinoiserie panels depicting typical Chinese landscapes with finely engraved hinges and lock plate, opening to reveal a shelved interior. The lower stand section with similar chinoiserie and lacquered detail and a central shell carved cartouche, raised on acanthus carved cabriole supports with paw feet. English circa 1920 in the George I Style. In superb condition with minor losses and scratches commensurate with age and use.

Dimensions: 34" wide x 18" deep x 57.5" high
