A good quality pocket barometer by Short & Mason of London. A silvered dial with scale from 23 to 31" with a curved mercury thermometer. A rotating outer bezel concentric altimeter calibrated in feet from 0 to 8000. Engraved to the dial ''SHORT & MASON LONDON, MADE FOR NCS WESTMINSTER' The original outer leather case. The original case gilding. Circa 1895.
