Mid C18th George II period mahogany fold-over gaming table .
Rectangular Cuban mahogany gaming or card table raised on bold , shapely cabriole supports onto broad , spreading pad feet . The fold-over top has been re-lined in bright scarlet red felt baize replicating the worn original. The rear with a single gate-leg action to support the top when opened.
Minor historic woodworm to the rear frame which has been treated and eradicated .
In excellent condition, the figured mahogany top has achieved a pleasing mellow, faded colour and patina. The friezes and legs with a rich , deep patination.
