Webberley Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
This dresser has a good colour and original timbers including the twin planked top. It is completely sound and very usable. The drawers retain their original oak linings and the cupboard its original oak shelf.
The handles are very old but not original and the dresser has a number of marks and dents consistent with age and use and is priced to reflect these faults.
Because of its narrow depth and good colour it would fit very neatly in a hallway or bedroom and is sturdy, heavy, functional and looks very handsome.
