Description

Gents 1940s Buren Grand Prix wrist watch.

The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 480 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Buren Grand Prix. There are empty retaining screw holes within the movement, these screws are not needed as this particular model has a retaining ring which holds the movement in place.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is chrome plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in very nice original condition with original hands, seconds sweep and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage Buren Grand Prix presentation box.
