Description

Gents 1940s Unitas wrist watch.

The watch has a calibre 173 hand-winding Unitas movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has a chrome plated bezel, alloy centre (which would also have been plated) and a stainless steel back, a combination seen in the second half of the 1940s. There is wear and marking in line with its age.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is marking across the dial and a small slight indentation at number 4.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
