We are offering this excellent condition original Edwardian circa 1900 Mahogany Ladies vanity dressing table in the sought after Sheraton design. It has been sympathetically restored maintaining original patina, signs of age and has a lovely deep rich original colour and lightly faded French polished finish. We have just enhanced this item by cleaning and carefully waxing this item to give a natural lustrous sheen and preserve and protect the item.

This dressing table features a Boxwood inlaid and cross-banded mirror frame complete with its original bevel edge mirror glass (no pitting) with the original working tilting via its 2 original mirror support screws with ornate polished brass heads. The mirror is supported by tapering boxwood inlaid up-stands with brass finals to the top which stand on top of the raised up-stand shelf base which is affixed to the top. The top is embellished with Satinwood Boxwood and Ebony cros-banded inlays. The dressing table has 3 dovetail constructed drawers with the same inlays to mimic the top. these drawers are perfect for makeup/jewellery or even clothing and all the drawers feature their original solid brass ring dropper handles. The unit stands on a square tapering legs with stringing inlays finishing to their original solid polished brass square cup castors.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, for example, the original mirror is in fantastic condition for its age, however, will still have imperfections due to its age. We feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character.
