Very stylish vintage silver Pill / Snuff Box. This rectangular box has an all-over decoration with engine turned pattern. It has a rose gold coloured metal inlaid on the top and a neat protruding lip for opening the hinged lid. Inside the box is gilded with a lovely pale yellow and here the hallmarks are clearly visible for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1964, Lion Passant and silver maker''s mark: Cohen & Charles. There are also partial hallmarks on the inside of the lid.
A lovely item and in great vintage condition (There is a very small ding on the font corner of the lid commensurate with the age and mentioned for accuracy).
