Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Regency era.
A stunning Georgian Mahogany drop leaf table.
This original table is made from fine quality solid Mahogany with sabre legs and reeded edges.

The fantastic table has a lovely deep original colour with old surface markings which give a great life story to this fine table.
This table has the ability to extend via 2 drop leafs along the length which are supported by 4 shaped support brackets.

Under the tabletop is one full length oak sided dovetailed drawer to the one side with cock-beading to the edge and 2 polished solid brass dropper handles. To the rear of the table is a dummy drawer which exactly mimics the real drawer.

This table stands on 2 shaped and fluted support columns with shaped corner support brackets to the under side which descend to 4 curved and reeded sabre legs which stands on its original amazing solid polished brass castors of the finest quality. There are many possibilities for the layout of this table with configurations such as behind a sofa or along the wall in a hallway or even in a dining room as a small serving table.

We have just cleaned and waxed to give a natural shine and enhance the surface.
This item is in an outstanding condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches, dents and historic repairs here and there.

There would have been a stretcher rail between the 2 support columns which has been removed by a previous owner and Mahogany shaped corner brackets have been added instead.
However, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character so we have left it untouched as it came in from the previous owner and have just cleaned and waxed this item.
