Antique Victorian Mahogany Musician’s Stool and Footstool

An attractive antique Victorian mahogany musician’ stool or seat with associated footstool. The musician’s stool has a decorative backrest and upholstered swivel seat. The stool is raised on four reeded legs with a decorative central column. Also included in the sale is a small associated footstool upholstered in the same red coloured fabric.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some minor age-related marks to the wooden frame. The upholstered seat remains in good condition with no major marks or stains. The seat swivels freely. There is a loss to the underside of the seat that can be seen when the frills are pulled back (pictured) – this does not affect the integrity of the stool. Overall, a good example of an antique musician’s stool or musician’s chair.
