Description

A fabulous Georgian Maltese cross pendant dating from the early 19th century. Brilliant emerald green pastes and white paste accent stones are set into silver backed in gold.

The stones are foiled at the reverse, making them extra vivid and sparkly by the Georgian candlelight.

The piece is unmarked but tests as sterling silver and nine-carat gold.

The cross is in very good antique condition; a small part of the gold back is missing on one arm of the cross when seen from the reverse.

Size: 3.3 x 3.5cm, 4.2cm total drop.
