A George III Oak Chest Of Drawers In Two Parts - C.1800

An elegant George III chest of drawers, in two parts for easy handling, with period but seemingly not original brass swan neck handles and pierced brass back plates and escutcheons, on bracket feet.
 
With a bill of sale from Windrush Antiques, 107 High Street, Witney, Oxfordshire, for the sum of £480 to Mr Densham of Enstone, dated 8th December 1989.
 
Condition:
 
In good condition and generally ready to go. What appears to be an ancient burn mark along the edge of the top on one side which adds character! Handles have been replaced at some stage with period examples.
