Pair of Large 18th C Delft Bowls

Description

A Pair of Large 18th Century Delft Bowls.

Each with a raised rim, banded with an ochre edge, surrounding blooms and flowers. The rims sloping to a concave band, and thence the flat centre decorated with scenes of an Oriental garden with extravagant flowers and foliage flanking a tree filled with hanging fruits. The rear with a small foot rim, and the makers mark for DE CLAUW.

Date circa 1750.
