A very handsome Edwardian biscuit box or cookie jar made by the prestigious Elkington & Co. A most elegant shape enhanced with a variety of cuts crowned with a silver plated handle and lid.

Being Elkington, it can be dated exactly to 1906 from the letter U seen in the hallmark.

Excellent condition, measuring 9" tall to top of handle.
