Gatsby Jewellery Ltd has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The stone is laterally set in a four claw setting with an open gallery, allowing maximum light to pass through the stone. A pair of high white and clean transitional cut diamonds flank the diamond, leading to a slim 18k white gold shank.

Accompanied by a Sapphire Report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphire shows no indications of heating.
Cut – Cushion cut sapphire and transitional cut diamonds.
Colour – The diamonds are F.

Clarity – The sapphire is VS. The diamond are VS1 to VS2.
Carat – The sapphire is approximately 1.80 carat. Each of the diamonds is approximately 0.25 carat (a total approximate weight of 0.50 carat).
Circa – 1950.

Measurements – The sapphire is 7.9 x 6.5mm. From the outer edge of one diamond to the other is 15mm. Sits 6mm from the finger.
Size – L 1/2 (UK) or 5 7/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.
Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
