Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1870s.
A good heavy piece of crystal was used to create this very smart box with a variety of intricate cuts revolving around a central large Floral motif on all four sides with garlands below meeting at the four corners.
There is a good hallmark for William Hutton below one side of the folding handle.
A grand box is superb condition, measuring 6 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 8" tall to top of handle.
