This is an original and very attractive mid 20th century Oil on Board Landscape Painting depicting 'The Hills At Lillydale' during a tranquil summer's day.

The wonderful image portrays an expansive mountainous landscape setting, with huge trees, a large pond and some majestic tall peaks in the distance.

Painted by a Dutch artist and signed lower-left corner 'J.Van Megchelen'

The work is also titled and inscribed verso 'The Hills at Lillydale'.

Beautifully painted and mounted within a fabulous quality heavy two-toned gilt moulded frame.
