A whimsical and very beautifully made collection of German monkey band porcelain figurines. These are very much in the style of Meissen and Dresden pottery, they are unmarked but were likely made in Germany in the late 19th century.

The quality is fantastic, these have gorgeous details and even the faces have charming and characterful expressions. This is a very dynamic set, when you look at them together you can almost hear the music being played!

The condition is mostly excellent, only one monkey (the drummer) has a historical repair across the midriff, barely noticeable but seen in the images.
