Corvidae Antique has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The belt buckle symbolises eternity, loyalty, strength and protection.
It was often used on Victorian betrothal and wedding jewellery, as well as in mourning jewellery as a mark of respect, remembrance and enduring love.

This ring bears lovely crisp hallmarks for nine-carat gold, Birmingham, with the date letter P and the sponsor's stamp CVE Bs.
The ring is in very good antique condition, although the floral pattern has worn away significantly at the sides and almost completely at the back.

Size: I and a half-J (UK), 4.5 (US). The inside has been chamfered on one edge, making it a more comfortable fit than many wide rings.
Width: Graduating from 6mm to 7mm.
Weight: 4.0g.
