Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
The size makes it equally useful as a console table. It is bow fronted with three drawers and a locking door. There is lovely satin wood inlay around the drawer fronts and all the edges. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and magnificent patina.
We have recently had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
