Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The sides are serpentine shaped, and the back is also beautifully finished so this can be used as a free standing item.
The wood is a combination of walnut, rosewood and king wood, the top is inlaid with a lovely geometric design.
The drawers are very well built internally, with lovely dovetailed joints and they are lined with green baize.
We have recently had this re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is excellent for its age.
