This is a fine example of a gents wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Rolex.

The watch case measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown.
The thinnest watch ever made by Tudor, only 6 mm thick, the Ref. 7960 is a very rare model, produced in small number for only a few years, from 1957 to 1963. In the late 1950s, it went down in watchmaking history as being the thinnest waterproof Oyster cased Tudor wristwatch. Today it remains one of the Tudor timepieces most sought-after by collectors.
It features an extra-thin waterproof steel case 34 mm in diameter and 6 mm thick. It is powered by the extra-thin calibre 2402 easily recognisable by its three rubies screwed into the top plate. It beats at a frequency of 18,000 beats per hour.
The big rose dial being the most desirable of the model range.
The watch has been fully serviced and is guaranteed to be a genuine Tudor in all respects.
It has been professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
It is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
