The finely figured, well proportioned, flame mahogany bell top case surmounted with a brass carrying handle, inset at the front and sides with cast brass silk lined sound frets, standing on a raised plinth and resting on pad feet.

The glazed door with brass edge moulding and the original locks to both front and rear door.

The 7" full arch painted white dial with Roman numeral chapter and subsidiary calendar dial, signed to the centre Hunter & Son, London.
Rise and fall regulation setting operated by a blued steel hand to the arch and strike / silent lever adjacent to the numeral III.

The fully restored fine quality substantial double fusee eight day movement with the original verge escapement striking the hours and repeating at will on a large bell.
Strike / strike silent facility, with a rise and fall mechanism for regulation setting.

The back plate beautifully engraved with floral swags, classical urn, rosette and finely engraved border.
The pendulum similarly engraved, with a pendulum hold fast.
The plates united by 5 large knopped pillars.

A fine quality London movement, fully restored and calibrated.
Finely fretted blued steel hands.
An elegant, well proportioned original clock with a wonderfully figured mahogany case of excellent colour and patination.
