17th Century Six Plank Oak Chest

Description

Charles I , 17th Century six plank oak chest with candle box and two lines of reeded carved detail to the front.

This piece is from an estate dispersal in Norfolk and is in untouched condition, there is ancient evidence of a previous repair and replacement of the lock complete with access hole in the top.

A fabulous near 400 year old chest with great colour and character.
