Description

Antique silver double albert with heavy RAOB fob.

The overall length from T-bar to each clasp is 22cm long. The T-bar is hallmarked for 1919. Each of the links has the lion silver mark, and one has the stamp for Henry Pope, the Birmingham silversmith.

Also included is a heavy silver gilt and enamel fob. The front of the fob has the motto Justice, Truth, Philanthropy, the motto of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes. The reverse of the fob is engraved with the wording ‘Presented to Bro Albt L Pollard, CP, by the Always Ready Lodge, No 3167, Certified on the 19th Aug 1930’.

Total weight, an impressive 83g.
