A superb quality Chinoiserie grandmother clock. The case having wonderful raised chinoiserie detail and gold lacquer detail. Having a circular silvered dial with Roman numerals and a brass movement striking on the quarter and hour. English in the Chinese taste C1931 (a brass plaque showing it was given a a token of regard and esteem to Mr F. Webster, September 1931)

Dimensions: 59" high x 9" wide case (hood 12" wide)
